Write an essay of 160 - 200 words based on the following picture. In your essay, you should
1) describe the picture briefly,
2) interpret its intended meaning, and
3) give your comments.

As is vividly depicted in the cartoon, a little boy dressed up as the Monkey King, holding a small stick, is talking to his father. The boy says that many of his classmates think learning traditional opera is boring, while the father replies that as long as the boy himself enjoys it, that is enough.
Simple as the picture is, it conveys a thought-provoking message about following one's own interest rather than blindly bowing to others' opinions. The father's answer reveals that genuine passion, not popular approval, should guide our choices. What's more, the child's love for opera mirrors a positive trend of young people embracing traditional culture, which deserves encouragement.
Therefore, I firmly agree with the father's attitude. On the one hand, only when we stick to what we truly love can we find lasting motivation and happiness. On the other hand, respecting a child's own interest helps cultivate confident and independent individuals. In light of this, parents and society should learn to listen to children's inner voice instead of imposing mainstream standards. Only in this way can each unique talent blossom.
